Draw, type, or upload transparent electronic signatures onto legal agreements and government forms.
Adding a clean handwritten signature to digital documents is a frequent requirement for Indian government services, rental agreements, employment contracts, and university submissions. Easy to Doc's Sign PDF utility allows you to place crisp, transparent electronic signatures on any PDF page within seconds without needing a printer, scanner, or costly subscription software.
Our signing utility offers three intuitive input modes: draw directly using your touchscreen, mouse, or stylus with pressure-sensitive stroke smoothing; type your legal name to generate an authentic cursive signature in various calligraphic styles; or upload an existing photo of your signature with automatic background transparency removal.
All signature rendering and PDF byte injection happen entirely inside your web browser. Your private signature image is never transmitted over the internet, preventing identity theft and unauthorized document tampering. Once positioned, the signature is permanently merged into the PDF document stream.
Your files never leave your device. All operations are processed locally in your browser memory via WebAssembly and HTML5 Canvas with zero server file storage.

Common questions about technical standards, compliance, and browser privacy.
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000, electronic signatures are recognized for general declarations, self-attestations, corporate acknowledgements, and many routine service applications. However, acceptance depends on the receiving organization, and formal instruments (such as wills, powers of attorney, or real estate conveyances) require execution on non-judicial stamp paper, notarization, or Class 3 digital signature certificates (DSC). Always check the receiving authority's specific signature requirements.
